My Baby is 5 months old. I am thinking of switching it from Mamex Gold Step 1 to a cheaper version of Dupro by the time he is 6 months. Is it advisable? What would be the difference? Is Mamex Gold really worth the money as it cost twice the money?

Hi jerrelyn, I’m Min Yi, CareLine Advisor/Nutritionist from Dumex. Thank you for your question.

For your information, both products are good.

In Mamil Gold, we have Immunofortis and Immunoforce, a scientifically proven oligosaccharide mixture that helps stimulates the growth of good bacteria and help maintain a good intestinal environment. It is a special prebiotic combination. 2/3 of our body’s immune system is in the Guts (intestine, colon). We also have other nutrients like DHA, AA, SA and others.

In Dugro, we have lcFOS (long chain fructo oligosaccharide). This is good for the digestive system; it promotes a healthy digestive system for good absorption of nutrients. It also contains many other essential nutrients to support children’s optimal development.

If you want further information please call 1800 38 1038.
