i was given a pregnancy booklet from ma hospital n it says dat its not safe for a pregnant mother drinkin cold milk cos if its germs it has or sumfin lyk dat so it says dat da milk shud b warmed to kill da germs cos it will effect da baby..so i wana no if soya bean milk or cold HL milk is aloud 2 b drank without warmin it up...

Cold milk,Cold milk has been fine for my daughter and i dont intend to heat bottles for my next one either. shes happy and healthy and the convenience is huge!

I would say that everything which is cold has bacteria in it. HL (High-Low?) milk is still milk and so's soy bean milk. I drank cold milk and I was fine. I didn't know that they don't recommend drinking cold milk though. I know you're not allowed to eat cold meats or meat that has been on the warmer, particularly chicken and roast pork/duck/chicken at chinese restaurants as they have a higher chance of being infected with listeria.
