We also need to find a balance in our lives, taking time out for ourselves so we have renewed energy for our family,” she continues. “As for me, I love taking pictures. It relaxes me; it’s fun, exciting yet calming,” says the budding photographer.

Useful Tips
  • Encourage your child to drink more water and less sweetened drinks in school.
  • Limit fat consumption for your kids & family by avoiding fried foods. Try healthier cooking methods, such as broiling, grilling or roasting.
  • Salt should be avoided; keep it to a minimum when cooking and instead use herbs and spices to season.
  • You can boost your child's fibre intake by adding unpolished rice to white rice; ¼ brown and ¾ white.
