Danone Dumex Quality Assurance
Danone Dumex is fully dedicated to child nutrition and our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our consumers. We would like to reassure the public that Danone Dumex products in Malaysia comply with government and international quality standards and are extensively tested before being placed in the market. To date, evaluations of samples of all our products by independent external laboratories have tested negative for melamine. All Danone Dumex products have also been given the all-clear by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
Danone Dumex reiterates that the products sold in Malaysia are made using milk powder sourced from Australia and New Zealand, which adhere to high standards and are subject to intensive quality assurance and control throughout the entire production and distribution process. All our milk supplies are strictly controlled by our milk powder suppliers and are also subject to government control and adhere to all legal standards.

With reference to the recent allegations regarding the safety of our milk products in China, Danone Dumex would like to inform you that on 13 February 2009, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision issued the test results for Dumex China products which validated that all Dumex products produced and sold in China do not contain melamine and are in full compliance with national standards.
